Francesco Benedetto Modugno approaches with music around 2000, playing bass guitar and singing in several rock and metal bands.
Through this experience in 2005 he discovers the electronic music world, first approaching to drum'n'bass and tekno genres.
Joining several crews and movements, he plays in many free party and important venues in Italy and Europe.
During this period, searching for some harder and faster genres - more similar to his metal original background - he discovers the frenchcore and hardcore music.
The change happens in 2011, when The Sickest Squad asks him to write and sing the voices for a song included in their next album: "Burn Ur Face" is published in 2012 by Audiogenic Records on The Sickest Squad album "Opera Prima".
The idea is successful, so he starts to collaborate with several acts of the frenchcore and hardcore scene:
from 2012 to nowasdays he has made tracks with artists like The Sickest Squad, Radium, Tieum, D.O.M., Chem D, Brutal Jesters, Carles S, Grigio and Corrupted Minds, being published on important labels and projects like Audiogenic, Brutale, Traxtorm, Footworxx, This Is Hardcore, Q-Dance, Beat Syndikate and many more.
From 2016 to nowasdays Kraken has released several solo studio track of hard dance music, usually full of dark and rock/metal influences, continuing to write and sing voices for some of the biggest artists of the frenchcore and hardcore scene.
