Krapka;KOMA is a Ukrainian multi-instrumentalist electronic girl duo. Following down the roads of indie-electronica, trip-hop and nu-jazz, Ira & Alona break new ground using a crazy amount of instruments both live and on their recordings. Their sound is somewhere between atmospheric Bonobo and sonically challenging Radiohead.
Since the launch of the project in September 2019, Krapka;KOMA has released an EP, 4 international collaborations, 6 music videos, composed a soundtrack for a video game, were released on a vinyl in Los Angeles and to date had over 80 self-booked shows in Ukraine, Europe and the UK, including festivals Waves Vienna, The Great Escape, Sziget, Reeperbahn & ESNS. They also formed part of a supergroup of UA/UK artists at an opening show for the Eurovision village in Liverpool.
Since the russian invasion of Ukraine started, the duo has been fundraising for medical needs of Ukrainian defenders and performing abroad in order to support Ukrainian culture and raise awareness about the war.
