Kray.Cee

The Midwest is notorious for producing some of the music industry's most prestigious artists. As a young girl Kray.Cee grew up in the essence of Hip-hop. A time where friends were family and family meant weekly cookouts in grandmas' backyard. This is when Kray.Cee found she a had a passion for the art of music. While performing in choirs she started writing poetry, scribbling her thoughts away. It wasn’t until she found her older brothers worn notebook full of raps and rhymes, he’d written that she began to turn her own poetry to rap. Drawing her inspiration from artist such as Lauryn Hill, Missy Elliot Aaliyah and Ludacris. With her growing and obvious talent, Kray.Cee’s parents signed her up for an all-girls group: “Yada Yada Girls”, at the age of only 13! Though the group helped further her talent it saw its end too soon. As time progressed, in 2013 Kray.Cee joined the group “Ace of Harts”. She later started her own music label called “Polish Up Entertainment”, where she works now to produce music, all while performing at large venues and featuring in cyphers with the best Hip-Hop artists AZ has to offer. Kray.Cee was reminded of her hard work and dedication in 2017 when she was nominated for female artist of the year at the AZMT Music Awards. Currently she has released her first EP called “Broken Code 1.9.9.0” on January 27, 2019. A video for So Sensual a track on the EP has also premiered. Kray.Cee’s success continues to grow and can be followed on her social media.
