Amsterdam based singer/songwriter Kris Jana was born in Angola and has lived in several countries throughout her childhood. Her taste in music was influenced by the numerous genres her parents used to listen to and made her embrace a wide range of styles. She found a way to heal from her traumas by channeling her pain and fears into creativity for her music. Writing and singing has always had a healing effect on her soul.

The process of making her debut single ‘Gravity’ was very personal and intimate and she hopes to inspire others with her story.
