Kristen Castro, a Mexican-American singer/songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer, weaves indie pop lyrics with colorful, ambient instrumentation—crafting a reflective, ethereal soundscape that invites listeners to embrace their whole selves while fostering connection and community.

Castro has a rare ability to transform abstract concepts into music that feels both effortless and deeply complex. Her work offers a unique perspective on the human condition, infused with wisdom from the stars.
Since the age of ten, Castro has been crafting music that transcends genre, fusing folk, Americana, pop, electronic, and country into a sound uniquely her own, reminiscent of artists like LÉON, The Japanese House, and MARO.

Castro spent six years touring the country as a founding member and integral instrumentalist for the trio Maybe April. She has shared stages with icons like Bonnie Raitt, Kris Kristofferson, and Gavin DeGraw, and opened for Sarah Jarosz and Brandy Clark. In 2012, she attended GRAMMY Camp, a pivotal moment in her musical journey. She later returned as a counselor in 2025, mentoring the next generation of artists. With an ever-evolving sound and a passion for storytelling, Castro continues to push artistic boundaries, creating music that resonates across generations.
