Cruelty, So Sweet is the second track from my new EP called February (coming soon). I wrote this song about the toxicity we can sometimes embody when afflicted with affection—when misgivings that should mar our view of someone instead blend into the sweetness of it all. It’s one of four songs centered on heartbreak, and the first of its kind for me.
