Kroniko

Born in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico but raised in Humacao Artist Kroniko briefly lived in New Jersey where he learned English. Kroniko and his two brothers were raised by their mom, his parents separated at a very young age. Says growing up he was always very close to his siblings and his cousins that are around his same age. Kroniko loved singing or rapping anything he had to say up until he turned 11 years old which was when he wrote his first song, which he says was only a chorus but many people from his school really seemed to like and sing along to. From then on, he kept writing songs, and raps with his friends.

Cosculluela was one of his biggest influences growing up he loved his flow; how different his voice was and also the fact that they were from the same town. Kroniko met Zion when one of his freestyles went viral and Instagram account Free Style Mania named him as one of the top freestylers. His video was sent to Zion, upon watching the video Zion became very interested and wanted to work with him.

Kroniko is extremely grateful to be able to say he is working with one of the legends of reggaetón and feels very secure to have Zion as a mentor; who he says is a master at his craft. His goal is to be a legend like Zion y Lennox, Daddy Yankee, Don Omar, Ivy Queen among others. Kroniko’s goal is to reach that same level of stardom. Kroniko’s sound is versatile and unique that can be adapted to any genre. He can’t be compared to anyone.
