Hip-hop artist/producer from Long Island, NY has been consistently putting out music since 2007. Getting his start with a Long Island based Hip-Hop group called Kaught You Sleepin’ (K.U.S. for short), he made waves by remixing popular rap beats and laying down verses on 5 mixtapes. In 2016 he dropped his first solo album, “Imperfectionist”. This album showed off his versatility by covering a wide variety of topics and concepts. In 2017 he released what many consider to be his best project to date, “Dead 2 Rights”. This album featured his vastly improved ability to create boom-bap beats which feature many soul/jazz/r&b samples. He followed that up with “Lyrical Graffiti” that same year. In 2018 he released “Laundromat Allstars”. Though all of his previous projects featured other artists from New York City and Long Island (such as Webs, Numbas, Cip, Treydmark, and L-One), this album features only the artist himself. His latest release was in 2019 with an album called “Made in America”. This was the first album that featured beats other than ones created himself in which he worked with fellow Long Island producer Joe Milly. As for 2020, Kros is currently working on a new project with his former partners of K.U.S. on an album strictly using beats from producer Joe Milly. The album promises to bring back the old-school boom-bap sound of hip-hop that fans have come to know and love from the artist, Kros.
