Krusoe

Born in London, Krusoe has rarely stuck around in one place for too long; perhaps a reference to his choice of moniker. Spending most of his teen years living on the UK’s south-east coast, he then moved to Paris, then onto Berlin, moving again to Belgrade shortly after that. He now resides in Valencia where he has taken a long hiatus from the music scene and worked at crafting a new sound.

His last EP “Give up the Coast” combined jagged electronic samples, with an energetic shuffling rhythm section. Produced by Pedestrian, who has worked with the likes of Maribou State and Dusky – it was a subtle, yet intriguing collaboration.
Loosely based on Odysseus’ journey – the EP – entitled “Give Up The Coast” is a stark and engaging 4 track release – which aims to mirror Krusoe’s views on the different stages of a relationship: Love. Madness. Loss. Denial. Acceptance. Rebirth.
His new project fused across the Atlantic Ocean, in a pre-quarantine time Pezzner and Krusoe enjoyed the beauty of an interconnected world without restriction of free movement. Music however has no boundaries, it can move through time zones and generations more freely than human beings have ever been able to.
Having made a connection through the renowned Berlin record label ‘Get Physical’, they embarked on an online writing process without borders, beyond the confines of isolation or physical restraints. Through this process ‘Into the wild’ was born.
