Music making was never truly in the cards for the Bronx native, but a real love and support for his early SoundCloud projects began to convince him otherwise. Never being one to say what he meant aloud however, KT decided to channel his thoughts into his music. Taking inspiration from early 2000s hitmakers Akon and T-Pain , as well as current mainstream artists like Travis Scott and Future , KT adds a unique vocal flair to the current Tri-State area rap and R&B scene, blending his raspy, usually love-laiden vocals over vibrant, bouncy trap/drill beats. KT tends to define his songs as “heartbreak ballads”, but often times shows off a flashy, traditional trap style, fashioning himself as an artist who frequently blurs genre lines.
