Artist based out of Phoenix, AZ
Kuri began making music around the age of 13, but has always been into art since a young age.
His very first works were with his uncle T-bounce, member of the former AZ collective YBM (Young Black Mafia) as well as his cousin Sosa Bread.
After some years of experimenting with different unorthodox sounds, his first professional release would land with “Vice Lotus” in 2019. The tradition then began of yearly drops of various EPs, each having a different approach sonically such as “Death of Loverboy” and “In Tune”.
Kuri would go on to release his first official album “Vice Lotus 2” late 2020; this project giving the most personal glimpse into his life.
“VNTIVICE 2” a follow up EP with producer VNTILOVE is available now; what’s planned next is the release of an untitled second album.
