KÜRØISHI (Japanese name translates to “Black Death”) is a d-beat hardcore punk band from Oulu, Finland, formed in 2016 by members of the band Terveet Kädet, which disbanded in 2016. The band's debut album Poverty. Ignorance. Greed. Slavery. was released on March 10, 2017 on Fight Records, Break The Records (Japan) and SPHC Records (USA).

Drawing influence from both Scandinavian extreme metal and the raw intensity of Japanese hardcore, Kürøishi has carved out a distinctive sound that pays homage to its inspirations while forging new paths in modern hardcore.
