Hailing from Japan, KURONEKO is the Seattle-based bass producer reshaping the scene with a cinematic blend of heavy grooves, supernatural synths, and distinctly Japanese sonic textures.
A rising force in the Pacific Northwest, he has taken over stages at Showbox SoDo, Victory Hall, Trinity Nightclub, Q Nightclub, Beyond Wonderland Gorge, Bass Canyon (local stage), and made a Main Stage appearance at Lost Lands alongside Dubscribe — pushing his sound to thousands of bass fans.
KURONEKO has been featured on Seattle’s top dance radio station, C89.5 FM, and has shared lineups with Seven Lions’ Ophelia Block Party, LP Giobbi, BLOSSOM, WRECKNO, and more — solidifying his presence across the region and beyond.
Beyond EDM, his music career extends into professional composition. He has written themes for elite athletes including world-famous breakdancer Hal Fimuya, multiple Olympic competitors, international dance teams, and Japanese production companies. His work also earned recognition in film scoring with awards for short-film composition.
With a visually striking cat-helmet persona, a dedicated Seattle fanbase, and an expanding international network, KURONEKO is carving a new space in bass music — one where Japanese style, cinematic energy, and explosive performance collide.
