KURV ARCHITECTURE DPC is a New York City based architecture, urban planning, design and development firm.
The Architects at KURV conduct research into generative geometric topological forms and constructs. By inputing live sound from various musical instruments into their own custom algorithmic process, they study the underlying and naturally emerging patterns and structures of three dimensional computational geometry by way of music and sound vibration. They use this in-house process to define, create and model new universal forms, patterns, structural rhythms and geometric space through experimentation and improvisation.
In these recordings, KURV Architecture documents the live process of improvisation with their patented method. The recorded sounds are a by-product of the experimental process.
