Since debuting on <a href="spotify:artist:4YwB41gFHCxY5bcNR3CcIH" data-name="Monstercat">Monstercat</a> in late 2016, <a href="spotify:artist:5mVWu2Ofpm2mlEpuMm3b4Q" data-name="KUURO">KUURO</a> [cure-oh] has made a formidable impact in the electronic dance music scene, racking up over 200M streams on digital platforms and touring extensively across North America including premier festival plays at Lollapalooza, Beyond Wonderland, Electric Zoo, Veld, Holy Ship! and more.
Led by veteran producer Luke Shipstad, the project has not only been a longtime favorite of Monstercat fans, but also has brought its unique sound to labels including Musical Freedom, Night Mode and RAM Records as well. KUURO’s music has reached far & wide and has received support from the likes of Zedd, Tiësto, Zeds Dead, Jauz, Kayzo, Allison Wonderland, The Chainsmokers, Afrojack, David Guetta and many others.
Ever since inception, fans have flocked to the signature KUURO palette – notably marked by minor chords, cinematic textures and dark snarling bass sounds.
