Kwame Ultimate - Independent, Reggae Dancehall artiste, poet and lyricist extraordinaire. Prior to touring the UK with Saxon Studio sound system, he worked on El Ringo sound in Jamaica after winning Tastee & National Deejay championship. Shared stage with Yellowman, Half Pint, Nadine Sutherland & Ziggy Marley & the Melody Makers. In 05, he opened for singer Akon at London's Hammersmith Palais.
Inspired by lyricists across genres like Marley, Smokey Robinson, Tanya Stephens, Queen Ifrica, Professor Nuts & Kabaka Pyramid. Echoes Magazine lauded Kwame’s own lyrical prowess upon reviewing his 90s charting hits Cocaine & Hello Poochiloo. 1st recording was anti-apartheid song Down in South Africa at King Tubby’s in Jamaica and Galdelero his 1st UK release. Then came biting social commentary with the dub infused Mr. Dutty Bablylon feat. Maximelia followed by dancehall songs like Blakk 2 Basics, No Virgins & Daddy fi Dem feat. Saxon’s Daddy Colonel. After a break to focus on law studies, it's now lyrics & drum rolls over court & legal scrolls. Currently finalising "I am Reggae I am Dancehall" galbum after returning with Conquerors, Xtraordinary, I am Reggae Muzik and new song Take Time .
