Emerging from the elite Los Angeles music scene, Hip Hop/Electronic/Funk multi-genre producer and recording artist Kwei began hitting the ground running in the music realm as a producer in 2008 at the age of 15, and since then has manifested into a versatile and multifaceted producer with his own signature sound and stylization.
Honing his craft during his teenage years, Kwei began setting the groundwork to his artistic merit when he began making beats authentically using strictly turntables. After some time delving into software, he became affluent with DAWs and began innovating a more fuller and exclusive approach in production.
With a very eclectic sound of his own, his music also stems from a vast array of artist influences including Daft Punk, Kanye West, Jamiroquai, and several others.
