Raekwon Elijah Kareem Butler, known professionally as KwonDaKing, is a rapper, singer, and songwriter born on December 10, 2004, in Norfolk, Virginia, and raised between Norfolk and Virginia Beach. He began his music journey in mid-2021 on the BandLab app with his first track “Worried,” using music as an emotional outlet to process real-life experiences. Influenced by the late Juice WRLD and XXXTENTACION, Kwon carved out a lane in melodic emo rap, blending introspection, raw emotion, and clever lyricism that feels natural and conversational.
In 2023, Kwon gained traction with “Letter To My Ex,” a vulnerable breakup record that marked a turning point in his artistry.
