Raised in Johannesburg, KXD BEATS began his musical journey as a rapper before transitioning into music production—where he discovered his true creative calling. His versatility and evolving sound have led to collaborations with international record labels such as LaPerle Records (France) and Leisure Music Production, as well as work with platinum-selling artists including Junior Taurus and Dzo 729.

In 2022, he was nominated for Best Upcoming Artist at the Mzansi Arts and Media Awards. Further cementing his impact, his song “Ekhaya” was featured on Uzalo (Season 10, Episode 117), exposing his music to a nationwide television audience.
