Kyber Krystals is a musical endeavour taken by Karen Jonz and Lucas Silveira (lead singer of Fresno, one of Brazil's biggest rock bands). Married in real life, Karen and Lucas have always made music together, since 2013 when they released a handful of songs by the moniker Vaconaut & the Apple Monster, sounding a lot like early 2000's pop punk, with a little 80's arcade vibe, a la Anamanaguchi. Keeping it quiet for a while, Lucas and Karen started releasing singles on a very consistent rate in 2017, now as Kyber Krystals, allowing themselves to explore modern pop sounds, heavy EDM arena-ready beats and duet vocals. A multi-instrumentalist and four-time skateboarding world champion, Karen writes most of the melodies, leaving the production and arrangements to Lucas. Their first single 'The Sound (This is Who We Are)' debuted on the top of the Spotify's viral charts in Brazil, and were promptly added to important playlists, almost instantaneously building a greedy following to their releases. The duo promises a full-length album for 2018.
