Kyla Charter

Blending her soulful vocals with elevated harmony and razor-sharp pop sensibilities, singer-songwriter Kyla Charter has lent her voice, and rhythm guitar playing to a number of both local and international acts, including the likes of Alessia Cara, July Talk, Zaki Ibrahim, The Queer Songbook Orchestra and Melbourne based rock band Kingswood. The young artist is focusing in on her solo artistry, having opened for Patrick Watson on his European tour in 2020, and more recently at Massey Hall; Kyla is getting set to release her debut record Edible Flowers in the spring of 2022.

The Toronto native can be heard on July Talk’s “Pray For It” Album as a featured artist and co-writer, as well as Rich Aucoin’s #1 hit How It Breaks.
Kyla has also appeared on The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon, The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, The Ellen Degeneres Show, Late Night with Seth Meyers, On Air with Ryan Seacrest, BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge, The Bambi Awards, Made in America Festival, The European Music Awards, The iHeart Radio MMVA’s, CBC Festival at Echo Beach, Massey Hall, Budweiser Stage, Scotiabank Arena, The Barbican Center, and Madison Square Gardens.
