Kyle Everett Magruder has been playing music gigs for over 25 years. A deep love for country music eventually led him to pick up the guitar with the goal to try and learn enough to be able to sing some songs. On down the road, musician friends Dave Carr, Jason Boland, Stoney LaRue, and Roger Ray helped him home in on his own sound. Stillwater, OK provided a base in the late 90’s to become engulfed in a music scene full of creative musicians and venues that fueled the passion.
Kyle has recorded two full length projects and a EP. “Water for My Horses” was the first album and was recorded at Cimarron Sound Lab by Jeff Parker and utilized Jason Boland’s Band “The Stragglers” and Stoney LaRue for harmonies in the Studio. The album contains 7 originals along with songs written by Jason Boland & Dave Carr. Next is “Kyle Everett and Friends” an 18 track acoustic project full of classic covers and a few originals. The 4 track EP “Cimarron Sessions” is classic Kyle Everett and guitar recordings.
Kyle Everett has shared the stage with Legendary Bands such as Jason Boland & The Stragglers, Stoney LaRue, Summer Dean, No Justice, Randy Rogers, Chris Knight, Randy Brown, The Red Dirt Rangers, Scott Copeland, Ricky Fugitt, Matt Mason, and many others.
