Kyle Lockhart is a singer-songwriter born and raised in Parkersburg, West Virginia. From an early age, Kyle was obsessed with music. Whether he was imitating Elvis Presley, banging rhythmically on whatever was in front of him, or singing for whoever would listen, it was clear that music was Kyle’s first language. Around age 9, Kyle started playing drums. A few years later, he picked up the guitar. All the while, songwriting was a constant in Kyle’s life.
In 2021, Kyle Lockhart released original music for the first time. His emotional, introspective EP, Dreamer Boy, included the single The Curtain; a folk ballad revolving around the isolation and uncertainty of the pandemic.
The upcoming EP, Roots & Revelations is a collection of emotionally charged, family-centric songs. It’s personal yet relatable lyrics reveal much about the roots that grow beneath and make up who Kyle is. The single, Don’t Go Out There is available December 5. Roots & Revelations is available December 12.
