Kyle McEvoy

Kyle McEvoy is a multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, and producer based in upstate New York.

Having immersed himself in the music industry from a young age, McEvoy began his journey playing in bands and touring with notable artists such as <a href="spotify:artist:3Sz7ZnJQBIHsXLUSo0OQtM" data-name="Mac DeMarco">Mac DeMarco</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:3ViZST9PgFoieuOHY2GZMp" data-name="Bear Hands">Bear Hands</a>, and <a href="spotify:artist:26T3LtbuGT1Fu9m0eRq5X3" data-name="Cage The Elephant">Cage The Elephant</a> starting at the age of 15. His passion for music led him to tour as the lead guitarist for the influential outsider folk artist <a href="spotify:artist:1gQuEuwI4uH0PScveapoRj" data-name="Kath Bloom">Kath Bloom</a>. Additionally, he has lent his songwriting and production skills to various artists, including <a href="spotify:artist:1zok0QXebHywV3KLl6DIFw" data-name="The Shivers">The Shivers</a>, L. Martin of <a href="spotify:artist:027TpXKGwdXP7iwbjUSpV8" data-name="The Walters">The Walters</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:4mkGZGaUTIpyG1LnZ6nNIi" data-name="Peter CottonTale">Peter CottonTale</a>, and more.

Beyond his work with other artists, McEvoy boasts an extensive catalog under his own music project, characterized by an ambient and nostalgic style intertwined with melodic fingerpicking and slide guitar, often enhanced by vintage tape delays. In 2023, McEvoy released his ninth studio album, &#34;Lone Oak,&#34; paying homage to his childhood home &amp; family roots in Waterbury, CT. Currently, he is crafting new material for 2024 and working on collaborations with a diverse array of emerging artists.
