L. é D is a multi-talented vocalist, and rapper, born in Bansoh, Cameroon. At the tender age of 6 years old her family moved to the United States and she was raised in PG County MD. Growing up she constantly felt the two cultures(African and American) tugging at her identity. Sick of never truly feeling like she belonged singularly to either culture, she made her entire life about seeking liberation from labels, and about the importance of finding the freedom to be oneself. This struggle for individuality lead to the realization of the nomad within. Jumping from place to place both physically and mentally, also from skill to skill in search of self, she is still searching. Her overarching ambition is to be a beacon for others in search of their greatest self, not to guide, but simply to facilitate and serve as a demonstration to those in search of true freedom.

Inspired by her family and Influenced by greats such as Kendrick Lamar, Eminem, J Cole, Techno, P Square, Benjamin Clementine and more, L. é D's bars are cold and knit together by vibey and expressive punchlines. Her effortless intonations are accentuated by a skillfully resonated and power-packed voice. She possesses a modern-day hip hop aura and delivers her rhymes in a cadence that crescendos with spellbinding emotive undertones. L. é D is a conscious rapper who strives to empower those who crave individualism to break down their own boxes and live authentically and creatively.
