L3MAYIAN

L3MAYIAN is a DJ and producer originally from Nairobi, now based on the Kenyan coast. He is the eldest son of his father, a British English Literature professor, and his mother, a Maasai painter.

He has a high-energy mixing style, blending genres such as Tribal Tech and House music to create a unique sound that tells an authentic and inspiring story.

He co-founded Mongoma Records with Kamushez, a platform that showcases the distinctive sounds of both local and international artists, focusing on African-inspired House and Techno.

In 2021, he became a resident DJ at SAWA, a prestigious beach party venue that offers an Electronic Dance Music Odyssey featuring both local and international DJs. Two years later, he was promoted to the position of Engineer, responsible for managing the sound. SAWA is situated in the scenic region of Diani and features stunning decor and cozy beach lounges.

In his most recent role, he was responsible for setting up and managing the stage for the "Rave Cave" at the Kaleidoscope Festival in Watamu. This involved creating an environment that replicated the ambiance of a genuine underground techno stage, tailored specifically for techno enthusiasts.

He has worked with talented artists such as Saint Evo and LEMI. He has also been the opening act for David Mayer, Tooker, L.A Dave, Aahil, Max Doblhoff, and Idd Aziz, as well as sharing stages with Foozak, HOLA JEFE, and KEENE, among others.
