La Cosa Norteña is founded by Nicholas Sifuentes, Horacio Arce and Hugo Gomez who were raised in Oakland, CA in the early 1990's. We believe that there is big responsibility in what is being expressed through the art of music. Our music stays true the sound of Norteño Accordion and BajoSexto. La Cosa Norteña sings original songs that promote love, heartache and the struggles that life might bring upon us. We are proud to count with writers composers like Hector Sifuentes and Manuel Arce who have written for many greats in the industry. Artist like Los Tigres del Norte, Jenny River, banda la Costeña and many more. The commitment to our fans is making music that is true to our community and culture as Mexican Americans.
