Valérie Reina Dinelle a.k.a La Reina started her music career mid 2019 in an unexpected way when she went to her friend's boyfriend studio for the first time and wrote on the spot, just for fun, her first single Gwap. The whole city of Montréal co-signed her so she decided to pursue her career and keep making music. Her dad is a Latin DJ, DJ El Chocolate, and her mom was a big fan of music so she grew up around artists and many kind of music.
In her first year, La Reina got a lot of mediatique exposure, she got booked to perform for more than 15 shows and festivals, she gave multiple interviews for popular podcast and radio show in Montréal and she went to Panama and got an interview for KW Continental, the most popular radio station in Panama.
Her career is getting bigger and bigger month after month. People love her unique voice, flow and the rawness of her lyrics. Rapper, songwriter and performer La Reina is a very versatile artist, but her main style is trap music. Since she started her music career, she never stopped dropping singles and visuals. Her goal is to put a Montréal Anglo female rapper on the map.
