La Ultima Thule

La Ultima Thule is a Venezuelan, Caracas-based alternative/fusion rock band that experiments with different kinds of genres and themes. They have been around since 2010. Their first EP (Vol 1-2011), had two singles, “Banderas Manchadas”, and “La Falda, La Pistola y la Espada”. In 2014 their first album “La Furia”, came out. This LP was produced, recorded and mixed by Eduardo Navarro, (former Lebronch guitarrist) and presented three singles (“Bienvenidos Sean”, Pajarito, and “Candela!”). This album featured different elements that tried to dwelve in the origins and extension of the Venezuelan culture, its vices and virtues, as well as political and social critique. They managed to tour the country, playing at different venues and earning a name in the local scene. In 2017 their latest record was released, “La Cueva”, a second EP which dealt with the spiritual side of the band, been highly influenced by Carl Sagan´s work, and Tibetan Buddhism.
