Laco Nikola is a French songwriter exploring the space between words, rhythm and inner states.
He began writing in 2020, long before finding the sounds that could fully carry his words. Three years in the Canary Islands immersed him in Spanish voices, Latin rhythms and nights shaped by the sun and the moon. That experience became Música del Sol: a 12-song Latin cycle moving through reggaeton, Latin pop and other shades of Latin music — sensual, festive, nocturnal and introspective.
Alongside it runs a second current built for the club: Afro-tribal acid house, followed by a series of futuristic acid-house tracks in French and English.
Every song begins by hand, as rhythmic prose. The words come first; then he searches for the voice, pulse and atmosphere capable of bringing them to life.
Years of studying yoga, consciousness and supramental thought also shape his approach to sound. He uses music to work on attention, energy and mental states — an exploration he extends through live guided meditations for American audiences.
