Formed in 2007 by singer, songwriter, and producer Sami Khan, Lagan is a Pakistani pop/rock band that hails from Peshawar and is now based in Lahore. Since its inception, three of their singles, Pal, Udaasi and Yaad Aounga, have received extensive airplay on the local music channels, catapulting the band to the forefront of the country's music scene.
One of Lagan's most notable achievements was when their music melodies were picked up by acclaimed filmmaker Shoaib Mansoor and featured in his movie "Khuda Ke Liye - In the Name of God." The songs "Janie Janie" and "Humaray Hain" became instant hits and further cemented the band's reputation as rising stars in the music industry.
