Laguna Motel plays dreamy low speed psychedelic rock, sometimes spiced with a touch of humor, but also mystery and tragedy. Laguna Lu writes about the thoughts and daydreams of the nondescript everyday life. Her words cover an abstract und playful examination of the present. Hard to understand on surface, their simple honesty makes the listener empathize the hidden part of the iceberg.

Structured around the soft rhythm guitar of Laguna Lu and embedded by the light and playful easiness of Bereu Black’s experiment friendly drumming, Boogieman Tyrone incorporates the sound with steady warm Bass playing. On top of this, Lulus gentle layed back voice alternates with Carlo Casino’s surf-esque, pattering Dream Guitar.

Founded 2021 under the golden autumn sun in Potsdam, Germany, the group startet to play gigs around town. On the 21. of June 2022, the Band released their self-produced EP „White Dream From The Silver Castle“, wich contains six songs that were recorded live in a friends basement.

Laguna Motel, a special feeling of an imaginary place near the ocean, where time doesn’t exist, waves are crashing the rocks on the beach, while you are laying in the sand, watching the surfboards riding the big waves and the cotton dog clouds painting the pictures of your revery.

The label Dream Rock precisely covers their aim of playing contemporary music that dreams of a yesterday that has not been experienced but strongly imagined.
