Lal İlhan

I’m lâ’l ilhan, a singer and songwriter. I dived into songwriting while experimenting with various instruments like guitar, violin, and piano(Jazz) as a kid. I craft my own songs, lyrics, and compositions, exploring art in its interdisciplinary form.

In 2022, I marked my musical journey with the release of my debut single, "Gökyüzü Mavi," featuring my own lyrics and music. Subsequently, my alternative pop single 'Büyü' earned a place on Spotify's Fresh Finds Turkey list, and I made it to the Equal Turkey list the same year. I believe that Rahat, which I released after these two songs, shows the collective mourning of the great earthquake that took place in my country, while the song that follows it, Kontrast, represents the rise from the ashes. Currently, I'm dedicated to pushing the boundaries of Turkish alternative pop with my innovative approach, as seen in my latest releases.

I've had the pleasure of gracing some stages across Istanbul, with my most recent performance being at the Mix Festival held at Zorlu Performing Arts Center, proudly sponsored by Converse. It was an electrifying experience that added another vibrant chapter to my musical journey.
