Lamonte

Born in Toledo, Ohio. Lamonte was the fourth child born to Carol Bills on March 13, 1991. By the age 2 Lamonte's mother was addicted to crack-cocaine and eventually abandoned him on a porch in the winter. His father Gilbert Lawson, unfortunately passed away before Lamonte was conceived. It was the tender age of 5, when he first was heard music and that artist was Tupac Shakur. A few years went by and he developed a flow that was more with the battle rap scene with aggressive & harsh lyrics. It wasn’t until he turnt 17 when Lamonte learned how to craft a song. From being abandoned as a kid to his own trials as an adult Lamonte worked on his craft and became more about self feeling and expression with his music, as he likes to call it “ Conscious-Trap”
