Lamor Compton

Lamor Compton was born and raised in Carson, California and began singing at an early age. He is the nephew
of American soul singer PP Arnold who has had considerable success in the UK and has done acts with greats
such as Mick Jagger, and Tina Turner to name a few.
Lamor grew up with in!uence from early legends such as Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder, and Prince. He was
born into a family of gospel singers, and performed as a vocal soloist for the "rst time when he was 11 years
old.
Before taking music seriously, he had his start in entertainment through television and movies. His music ranges from smooth OVO type melodies all the way to Urban Hip Hop. His versatility has allowed him to collaborate with such artist as: Bay area native
Rich Rocka, Inland Empire natives Audio Push, Joe Moses, Jake & Papa, and Compton AD.
In January of 2015, Lamor released his "rst single titled "Steady" which is song about being confused in love,
Power 106's Dj Carisma backed the single to help push it and give the record more awareness. He later did the
remix to “Steady” along side reality TV star, Hazel E, who is known for her role on Love & Hip Hop Hollywood.
Lamor independently released his "rst debut project titled "Midnight" in May of 2015 and since then has been
on the rise. The project was received well by the public and blog/media outlets such as Datpif and other blog spots.
