Lance Saint Ash

Lance Saint Ash is a Studio Artist: lyricist, songwriter, musician, vocalist, producer, engineer, and mix engineer.

In 2000, Ash shopped his rough mixes, and though unsigned, they captured the interest of Grammy-winner Phil Nicolo (Billy Joel, Sting, John Lennon, Amy Grant) who chose to mix the album.

The impact of the debut led to Ash’s opportunity to open for four-time Dove Award winner and Grammy-nominee Nichole Nordeman.

On the heels of that momentum, Ash signed an artist development contract, affording him the opportunity to study with vocal coach luminary Dr. Scott Martin (PhD, Julliard; Michael Jackson, Nancy Wilson of HEART, George Michael) who helped Ash technically achieve the versatility of his vocal heroes Morten Harket (a-ha), Glen Phillips (Toad the Wet Sprocket), and Peter Gabriel.

Since releasing digitally in 2009, Ash has streamed into the multiple thousands globally.

Ash’s newest album, two Rooms, continues his career of exploring contrasts and juxtapositions. The title track serves as the pivot-point between awakening, celebration, and beauty… and the deeper – and at times, darker – contemplations to which Ash is prone.

Ash took the helm on every front on two Rooms, including the mix engineering; but the final sonic punch was left to the skill of Grammy Award-winning Mastering Engineer Adam Ayan (REM / Bruce Springsteen / Carrie Underwood / Lady A / Pearl Jam / Gwen Stefani).
