A baritone vocalist in the traditional pop style, Landau Eugene Murphy Jr. is best known as the winner of the sixth season of the NBC reality show America's Got Talent. A native of Logan County, West Virginia, Murphy grew up the son of a minister and first began singing in church. In 2003, an appearance at a local arts-and-crafts fair jump-started his career. In 2011, Murphy auditioned for and later won America's Got Talent. He sang <a href="spotify:artist:1Mxqyy3pSjf8kZZL4QVxS0">Frank Sinatra</a>'s "My Way" during his final performance.
