Lani K real name Jalani Kojo, is a son of the soil. Born US citizen, but raised in Port-of-Spain, Belmont Trinidad. Birthed in the roots of calypso music by his mother two time calypso queen Ann Marie Parks-Kojo “Twiggy” and father Oba Kojo. Lani K pierced his way from the junior calypso monarch stage to the semifinals of the national calypso monarch on three separate occasions. He also placed 3rd in the young kings competition in 2020. Lani K was blessed with the talent to pen his own compositions. Not only that, He is a father of two children and also a God fearing man, husband and worshipper. Lani K’s mission is to live in the God’s purpose for his life, spread the gospel through music, voice and ministry.
