Born in Hawaii and raised in Jersey, Filipino Lani Lux’s interest for music grew when she was a kid thanks to her parents who always played 80’s pop artists such as Whitney Houston to 90’s Jamaican Reggae Duo Chaka Demus & Pliers. Although music has been Lani's passion her entire life, she is just starting to rise. Staying true to her island, care-free roots, her chill, angelic voice bridges the gap between her own style of genres such as “Seductive Hawaiian Trap”, “Indie & R&b”, and “Ghetto Pop”.
Her first single "Maui Wowie" released back in the summer of 2017 made its radio debut on Hawaii's #1 Reggae Station under former artist name 'Leilani". In 2018 she released the R&B track "What I Want" and Pop/Dance track "This Your Time". To kick off 2019, Lani dropped another R&B single titled "Sometimes I Ride" in January. Her singles "Sometimes I Ride" and "What I Want" gained a spot on Heavy Rotation's playlist, a global podcast for Filipino Hip-Hop and R&B. Her newest single "We Go Beach" which dropped summer of 2019 features a Reggae/Trap sound that provides perfect beach vibes.
