Lanji

Zewelanji Sanga popularly know as Lanji is a versatile Singer / Rapper and
Songwriter from Lusaka, Zambia born on December 18th.
Her musical journey started in October, 2013 when she firstly visited a
recording studio and she has been recording music since then.
She was Raised by Reggae because of her Jah father, Mr Japhet Sanga,
though she doesn’t let that limit her sound, she is a Multi-Genre Artist.
She gets inspiration from People’s Experiences, Songs and Artists like
Chronixx, Beyoncé, Bob Marley, T-Sean, Naomi Wachira and Oliver
Mtukudzi to mention just but a few.
She dropped her first ever professional single under YM Media her
Label on September 8th 2019 called “Set D’ Tone”. She's gone on to release 3 more impressive singles.
2020 saw Lanji's name grow even bigger as she featured on the Top two
best selling albums in the country on Mvesesani, Mother Tongue by
Slapdee and The Last Dance by KB, she featured on 2 songs on
Slapdee's album (Bwafya and Take It Back) and 3 songs on KB's album
(My Diary 9, Free and Sangala). She has collaborated with big names locally including, Slapdee, T Bwoy, KB and Yung Verbal from
Zone Fam. Her Brand continues to
grow and
She is definitely a rising star looking to take over the world with her unique
and catchy sound.
One of her career goals is to communicate to someone about the
power of love, self-confidence and belief in oneself to make their dreams.
