LANUGO are the singer Markéta Foukalová, the producer and composer Viliam Béreš, the bass player Rastislav Uhrík, the drummers Martin Kopřiva and Martin Novák, and the guitarist Mirek Šmilauer. Their live performances offer a thrilling and energetic experience. In 2009, they released their eponymous debut, in 2011 they launched their second album with the simple title Lanugo, 2011 which was nominated for the Czech Music Critics Choice Award Apollo. This was followed by an EP and Lanugo, 2014 which included the hit Sára. In the 2019 recording, the producer Viliam took the sound into unchartered waters using a strong melancholic motif throughout. Lanugo are currently working on a new record that will come out next year.
