LargO

LargO is a project by Julien Begue, an artist originally from Reunion Island (France) now working from Orlando, LA., and Montreal. LargO is part of today’s exciting up and coming musicians where the artists have been blending genres of music to create an electric new style, an unique mix of modern electro sounds and energetic riffs, with influences of House, Hip Hop as well as Reggae and Dancehall. Big names such as : Diplo, DJ Snake, Skrillex, Dillon Francis, Jauz, Habtrakt and Joyryde have been a source of inspiration for LargO when producing this electric style of music.
It’s in 2016, after being a DJ for 3 years, that Largo went to Fullsail University and graduated in music production with a 3 course directors award. After graduation in 2018, he started working with a multi platinum producer in LA on music projects for films production such as Disney and Nickelodeon, participating on 8 out of the 14 tracks for the movie Next Level (released in 2019).
That same year LargO also released his first single “Waiting 4 you” featuring Ylem, reaching more than 60 000 views on Spotify alone.
At the start of 2019, Largo went in contact with Vib’in Records label and in April 2019, along with Steven Live, released the track “Occidental bass”, airing on multiple radios in France (Fun radio) and the US (Wonb, KRKC, WNYO) as well as being played in more than a 100 clubs and bars around the world.
