Larza (real name Hugo Carpentier) is a DJ and music producer born in 2002 and based in Lyon, France.
His passion for electronic dance music (EDM) was sparked in 2013, inspired by the rise of groundbreaking artists like Martin Garrix, Hardwell, and Krewella. This new wave of EDM ignited his journey into the world of music. Hugo began honing his DJing skills at the age of 14, developing a deep connection to the energy and creativity of the genre.
In 2022, he took the next step in his musical evolution by venturing into production, quickly making his mark with polished and emotive tracks. By 2024, Larza had cemented his place as a rising star in the progressive house scene. His music found homes on prestigious labels such as BODYWRMR, FeelQ Recordings, and most recently, Revealed Radar. Additionally, he co-founded his own label, Euphonix Recordings, alongside collaborators KILIAM and Tweellve. With support from industry heavyweights such as AFROJACK, Jeffrey Sutorius, Futuristic Polar Bears, and many more, Hugo is on a mission to become a defining voice of the next generation of EDM talent, continually reshaping the soundscape of modern dance music, driven by a blend of dedication, creativity, and a forward-thinking approach.
