Edgy and clever. Georgia based artist LaScrilla known for his transparent lyrics has had a rough upbringing. With an unique sound he gives detailed descriptions of his flashy life, but yet speaks how he endured hardship on his rise to fame. From a single parent household, LaScrilla turnt to the streets at an early age. In 2015 he decided to become a rapper when he joined <a href="spotify:artist:6Q4MFlysvdbBeEhoKgAUbY" data-name="DJ Holiday">DJ Holiday</a> to release his first mixtape “Scrillumimati: 73 Months Later.” With a relentless grind he eventually gained the attention of <a href="spotify:artist:3tw84hRqJ74jHLdOm1mebF" data-name="Street Execs">Street Execs</a> whom he partnered with for Management. Wasn’t too long until LaScrilla found hisself in trouble March 2017 in which he was sentenced to 30 years in prison.

This is a tale of an underdawg that had all odds stacked against him. Fighting for his freedom LaScrilla won his appeal 2021 and was released.
