Lashawn Creed is a force in modern hip hop—blending gritty storytelling with club-ready energy and undeniable presence.
Born Desmond LaShawn Bryant in Southwest Philadelphia, Creed found purpose in pain. Inspired by A Tribe Called Quest at age 9, he began writing, producing, and battling by 13 under the name Dymez. His breakout single “Yung Stunna” and follow-up “Pose 4 Da Camera” put him on the Philly radar. After a brief hiatus to become a father, he returned with the mixtape “A.D.D.”, independently moving over 10,000 copies.
He rebranded as Lashawn Creed, honoring his late cousin Black, and rose again—this time with sharper focus and a stronger voice. Despite battling a severe health condition, he continued performing, including shows at Team Backpack Mission Underground in Brooklyn and Power 99’s Philly VS Everybody.
Creed's streaming catalog continues to grow, with tracks like “Big Dog,” “Throw It,” and “I’m Da Man” gaining momentum across platforms. His 2022 single “Woof” marked a breakthrough, charting across Spotify and trending in club rotations.
Now, his new single “DROP” (out May 15) is set to elevate him even further—blending heavy bass, punchline bars, and undeniable replay value.
Lashawn Creed doesn’t just rap—he leaves impact.
