For those who might still be unfamiliar with the young and extremely talented singer you may be surprised to know that before Lasse Skriver’s already astounding career in music, he was a carpenter student who rose to overnight fame about a year ago, when a clip of him auditioning for the Danish X-Factor went viral because of his impressive voice. Lasse Skriver never made it to X-Factor, but when he released the cover of George Ezra’s ’Budapest’, that he sang for his audition, it went to #4 on the Spotify Charts. His first original single ’Like It’ followed up on the success, becoming both a top 5 streaming hit (now Gold Certified) and a top 10 radio hit in Denmark. Now, Lasse Skriver is chasing the dream as a pop-star on full time and is among the most popular Danish acts.
