<a href="spotify:artist:5S7kHKrpKHvzpQSYw9SMx1" data-name="Harald Lassen">Harald Lassen</a> is a child of the highly creative and constantly blooming jazz scene in Oslo, Norway. Alongside Belgian hot shot pianist <a href="spotify:artist:32c6i6INQivcOe8y7zyKmG" data-name="Bram de Looze">Bram de Looze</a> and a wildly fun Norwegian rhythm section, band leader, singer and sax player Harald is presenting his adventurous and characteristic band. Colorful, passionate and catchy music, switching seamlessly between nostalgic longing, genres and driving futurism. Being different is something that Nordic-Belgian LASSEN does instinctively and organically. They released their debut album ”Eventyrer” at Jazzland Rec. in 2018 followed up in 2019 with "Remix-Eventyrer" which saw new interpretations from various artists from the techno, indie pop and jazz scene. Their collaboration with an opera singer <a href="spotify:artist:16iShQNQ5UWaam456ajcIA" data-name="Henriette Stabell Johnson">Henriette Stabell Johnson</a> resulted in ”Spazi Siderali” combining Italian opera, EWI and cooking jazz. As they say in LASSEN's social circles: "It's boring to be ordinary!" Despite its relatively short existence LASSEN has already played for a packed audience in Ronnie Scott’s in London and has been booked to perform on leading European festivals, toured China and represented Norway at JazzAhead in 2018. A new album is announced in 2020. This is only the beginning.
