Uno, dos, tres, quatro!
That’s how we used to start every song before we had a drummer. Back then, it was just two friends, too many guitars, and percussion played with our feet (surprisingly effective, mildly chaotic). Then we found two more: Bono and Zjef. They shared our love for music, but more importantly our love for reverb. Just like that, the band was complete.
We’re Lassie, named after Lars (guitar) and Jessie (vocals/bass), the original duo. Not the dog, though we’ve also been known to show up unexpectedly and cause emotional scenes.
Our sound? Indie and new wave with a healthy dose of 80s flair. Think dreamy riffs, punchy basslines, vintage reverb, and melodies you can dance or disappear into.
