Last Minet is a high energy alternative pop rock band based out of New Jersey. Their music is a unique blend of catchy melodies with fast-paced drums and guitar. Made up of female guitarist and singer/songwriter Zuri Fadul and female drummer and songwriter Jovanna Cedeno, the group has come a long way from humble beginnings in 2007. After a life threatening car accident in June 2017, the band took a hiatus to focus on the recovery and well being of drummer, Jovanna, who sustained a Traumatic Brain Injury.
After years of adapting to this new version of life, the pair has found their way and are currently writing and recording new music backed by the emotions and experiences in the recent years. On January 11th, 2021, Last Minet will be released a new single called "Gave It All Up" that they feel strongly represents where they are right now in their in life and music careers. Their newest single "Don't Hold Back" debuted on April 2nd, 2021. The song portrays a story about being there for someone when they're upset, while saying "it's okay to not be okay, and it's okay to let it out.".
They have created a name for themselves locally and have performed all over the US - even making appearances at the Vans Warped tour festival. Their debut album "Live For Love" has been independently released in November of 2015 and is available on all streaming platforms.
