Last To Fall

Last To Fall was formed in the Fall of 2018 by current guitarists Shawn McNair and Paul Reepmeyer. The two had met while attending classes at The College of Saint Rose in Albany, NY. They quickly became friends through performing together in a progressive rock ensemble held by the school and began to meet up and jam after rehearsals. Although they come from two very different musical backgrounds, it was evident to them, after only jamming together a couple of times, that they had something special to bring to the table. The band underwent a variety of different lineup changes, culminating in the addition of Ryan Baxter (vocals), Jake Davis (drums), and Jason Gray (bass).

Having six songs written, newly named "Last To Fall" started recording their debut EP in February of 2020. Unfortunately, the following month the COVID-19 Pandemic hit, and with the ensuing lockdown, the band was forced to halt production. However, they decided to forge ahead and record the rest of the EP remotely.

The first single from this EP, "Forgiveness" was released on July 10th, 2020. Produced by Robert Friedmann with Drums Engineered by Sean Wendell, it is the culmination of two years of hard work, and a testament to the band's commitment and unwavering resilience. With new music in the works, Last To Fall plans on continuing to hone their sound and grow their audience, as well as hopefully seeing all of you at a live show very soon…
